Using the latest in environmentally friendly methods we search the forests of the pacific northwest to harvest the finest tone woods there are for use in our instruments. Rather than cut down an entire forest we uses decades of experience and work in conjunction with the forest service to select the trees that have promise of figure and good tone, and carefully harvest them for use in your instrument.

The tone wood we harvest is the highest quality available. We also sell our tone wood to other guitar companies. One in particular produces guitars that list in the 8-10 thousand dollar range.

We do not, and I repeat “do not” hurry the wood we use for any reason. It is properly dried at the proper temperature changes, time and moisture is released properly so as to maintain the integrity of the wood. Try it, you’ll love it! We call it Stump to Stage.
